Sung Kim

Sung Kim is a Korean artist born in 1940. He began to exhibit his artistic talents from his earliest childhood. He won his first art competitions in elementary school thanks to his heightened imagination and creativity. He decided to persevere in this direction and to make his passion for the art his profession thanks to a diploma obtained with honors from Beorabol Art College in Seoul.

He opened his own studio and worked as an Illustrator for a number of magazines and children's books. Sung's artistic abilities were more widely recognized when he won the Grand Prix in the art competition organized by the Ministry of Culture of South Korea and the Gold Medal in the art competition organized by the Mayor of Seoul. .

After emigrating to the USA in 1980, Sung worked for numerous art galleries and produced hundreds of paintings. His paintings were declined in puzzles, posters, stationery ...

Sung enjoys traveling, especially in the Mediterranean, where he draws his inspiration for many of his paintings. These are also exhibited in many galleries around the world. His work is recognized for the tranquility with which he succeeds in endowing his works.
